Dear Lomitas Families,

So many great things took place in the month of  February and I hope everyone had a wonderful month!

Thank-you to Lorraine Riser, Sandra Cox, Cox Plumbing and the entire crew for another outstanding Starbucks and Krispy Kreme drive-thru.  Our school earned over $200.00!

Many thanks to all of the Lomitas families and staff that joined us for the February One Night Only at Applebee’s.  An extra special thank-you to Kris Steenerson for scheduling this event.   It was great to see so many familiar faces and earn nearly $200.00 at the same time.  Please continue to participate in these family events.  If you have any preferences you would like to see as a One Night Only, please feel free to call with your ideas.

The Lomitas PTA sponsored our second Staff Appreciation Luncheon of the year with a Mardi Gras theme.  The staff at Lomitas dined on many delicious entrees fitting the theme.  Thank-you to everyone who participated in making this event reflect our appreciation for our amazing staff!!

A big pat on the back to all Lomitas Room Parents for pulling off another year of great Valentine’s Day parties.  The kids all had a great time and the teachers didn’t appear too traumatized!!

Our first Family Fun Movie Night was an incredible success with over 100 people in attendance.  The room got a bit noisy but it appeared that everyone was having a great time.  We would love to begin having a Movie Night every month if enough families are interested.  If you continue to come...we will have movie night!!!

Please watch your child’s backpack for information about our upcoming PTA elections.  We are in desperate need of some new parents to get involved.  Your involvement DOES NOT require a major commitment.   Please consider spending some time with your Lomitas PTA as we all support our students.
