Dear Parents,

ABSENCES DURING REGULAR SCHOOL YEAR

Our goal is to have every child in class daily unless they are sick. Please note that the following reasons are not acceptable for being absent from school and are considered truancies or unexcused absence from school. (Truant if a student does the following: unexcused if a parent requires a student to do the following:)

1. Going to work with parent or other family member
2. Going to the beach, lake, river, mountains or desert
3. Going to a concert
4. Baby-sitting, taking care of other family members
5. Joyriding or partying
6. Personal problems
7. Repairing car or household items
8. Waiting for service or repair people to come
9. Shopping
10. Camping
11. Attending a sporting event
12. No transportation
13. Oversleeping

NOON DUTY SUPERVISORS NEEDED

We are looking for noon duty supervisors to work during lunch recess. If you are interested in being an NDS, please contact Mrs. Marquez, School Administrative Manager, at 243-2012.
