REMINDERS

Please remember to call in your child’s absence each day that your child is not at school.

• Parents, please make an extra effort to schedule any appointments (such as doctor, dental, etc.) for your child after school hours to avoid the many interruptions to the classroom at the end of the day.

• Please give instructions to your child before coming to school (such as who is picking them up, where to meet, and whether or not to walk home). It is difficult to get messages to students at the end of the day.

• Each Friday is a minimum day. We have numerous students who are picked up well after the dismissal time of 11:59 a.m. on minimum days and 1:55 p.m. on regular days. Each day we have approximately 10-12 students who have to call home for someone to pick them up. Please make every effort to pick your child or children up on time because we do not have staff available to supervise students after school hours. This helps to eliminate the numerous interruptions to our teachers, classrooms, and office.

CELL PHONES

Cell Phones We would like to remind you of the school policy regarding cell phones on campus. The following guidelines for cell phones and pagers will ensure the continuation of a positive climate of learning, free from unnecessary disruptions.

? Cell phones or pagers may not be used during school hours
